FAQ
1. How many potential projects can we submit?
- You can submit as many projects as you want for August 22 Betterment Project Day. We will be reviewing your submissions and determining which projects we will be able to fulfill.
2. What kinds of projects are more likely to get approved?
- Though there are no set “Perfect Projects”, two important things to consider are:
- Most of the labor that is being donated is non-skilled. The volunteers will be able to do various things from yard cleanup to basic painting, etc.
- The home projects are limited to exterior work.

3. Can we submit a project for a school or church in the Grant Beach area?
- Yes, absolutely! We believe schools and local churches are a great asset to the community.
On August 22 from 12:15 to 4 pm, The Fairbanks in partnership with Convoy of Hope and Evangel University are having a “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” day in the Grant Beach neighborhood. We are looking for individuals that could use some help in the Grant Beach area with light exterior maintenance or a cleanup project. The day will conclude with a neighborhood BBQ and games hosted by Life 360 Church in Grant Beach Park from 4-6 pm.
